Pharmacy

The pharmacy at Sindh Institute of Child Health and Neonatology is a vital component of the hospital's healthcare delivery system. It is staffed by trained pharmacists who work in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive safe and effective medication therapy.

The pharmacy stocks a wide range of medications and supplies that are specifically tailored to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients. The medications are sourced from reputable suppliers and manufacturers and are subjected to rigorous quality control checks to ensure their safety and efficacy.

The pharmacy also provides medication counseling services to patients and their families. The pharmacists educate patients and families about the medications they are taking, their dosage, and potential side effects. They also provide information on how to take medications properly and how to store them safely.

In addition to medication dispensing and counseling services, the pharmacy also plays a key role in medication management and monitoring. The pharmacists work closely with physicians and nurses to monitor patient medication regimens, identify potential drug interactions and adverse effects, and make appropriate adjustments to therapy as needed.
